Our deepest sympathies to all of Alan’s family as you grieve the loss of your Dad and grandpa. He was much loved by many, many people. Jeff’s known Alan since the early 80s whilst at Greensborough Baps, and he married Jeff and I in 1989. We are grateful for ongoing relationship with him in the past decade too where he has met our children and we have spent time talking with him at home. We have such fond memories and are thankful for his prayers and insight. We have his TYLYKAAI sign in our kitchen and it gives us comfort that the Lord does in fact know all about it. Through the good times and the hard times. We are thankful you are now out of pain Alan and with your Saviour and Lord.

During the building of Diamond Valley Baptist Church, many people volunteered at working bees every Saturday. Pastor Alan did what he did best by encouraging and supporting the volunteers. This photo must have been taken in the early 1980s. Rick Heckathorn and Peter Jackson are standing with Alan.
