Enjoyed this man’s friendship and music as a fellow musician with the Maranatha Choir and others before they left Scotland for OZ . Allan was always interested in the extension of God’s kingdom and his friendly attitude helped others on the journey to faith. Much love to Ruth, Barb, Raymond and all family members at this sad time for you all. May you each know the comfort, peace and strength that only He, as our Heavenly Father, can provide. With our love and prayers.

We have very fond memories of being in Allan’s company in Scotland and Australia. He brought kindness, laughter and good humour to any occasion and we admired his musical skills, extending even to teaching the birds to sing Scottish songs. His dedication to Christian service was always evident, and it is good to know he is now with his Lord and Saviour in a better place. We send our love and prayers to Ruth, Barbara, Raymond and all the family, commending you to His comfort and strength in this sad time.

You are treasured Allan with a love beyond all feeling; Missed with a grief beyond all tears. You will be treasured forever in our Memory. Distance may separate us but love knows no bounds. Sending our love, thoughts and prayers to Ruth, Barbara, Raymond and families at this sad time. May they find, strength, peace and comfort in their time of sorrow. Much love from their Scottish family. xx

Although we haven't seen "Poppy" for a long time , we have so many fond memories of our visits down under. Racing round a half built Albert Park with Deano Schumann , Aaron wearing a Holden Cap til it didn't fit anymore , Christmas dinners , running along the beaches , just being daft. Our best wishes to the whole family and extended families at this time. Lots of Love , Graeme , Sandra , Adam & Aaron XX

My very dear friend Allan was among the most caring and spiritually alive people whom I have had the privilege to know. His musicianship touched me deeply but it was the beauty of his character and personality as well as the depth of his compassion which has left an indelible imprint on my life. Forever missed and remembered by a grateful friend.

Such a kind gentle man, always showing interest in everyone around you. Will miss the hi Dave’s when you pop in to get some eggs, or are out watching bowls. Sadly missed by all!
