I remember a dear cousin, Audine, who formed a connection with my late mother. Although they met seldom, they kept in touch with long letters over the years, in which they shared genealogical information as well as their pride in their families. As my mother's health lessened, Audine and I kept in touch and developed a warm friendship and mutual respect. I shall miss her and our texts so very much. I had intended to fly from Adelaide to the celebration of Audine's life. Unfortunately, COVID intervened. To Audine's lovely family, my condolences and understanding of your loss.
