Dean, I have known and been a friend since primary school. Although we weren't in regular contact, when we did it was like no time had passed. You were a true friend and I enjoy being part of your family, as they are what I consider to be my second family. I will miss you, but will be there if needed by your family at any time. My sincere love and compassion goes to all your family. RIP.

Loving memories of my lovely nephew Dean, who was an important and cherished part of my life for all of his life. We shared many happy occasions through out his childhood in the North Island with his family, and later in Christchurch and then in Australia. And also many times with the Turner and Monk extended families. Dean was a loving caring person who extended the hand of kindness and friendship to all. Dean was particularly welcoming and kind to me when I was having health issues while living in Christchurch, and also inviting me to holiday with them in Melbourne, which was a highlight for me. Dean was a devoted Father and greatly proud of his three children, I received many videos of their music and singing within their Church, and was delighted to hear of their achievements. May God bless and be with them always. Dean was a firm believer in the gospel of Jesus Christ, and lived his life to love and serve God, ever seeking to become closer to Jesus, as was shown to me in the last song of worship he sent to me in December. "The Heart of Worship" Matt Redman - (Live from The Mission) Psalm139 V 16 says "All the days ordained for me were written in your book, before one of them came to be." I believe our much loved Dean's time had come for him to leave this earth and go to his Heavenly Father, and he is now at peace for evermore with those loved ones who have gone before him. May God be with all his family and friends who loved him, and grant them comfort and peace during this time of grief and loss. Much love and blessings from Pamela J Turner and family.
Extremely sad to hear the news of Deans passing, my heart felt condolences to Aunty Julie, Uncle Neville, Cousins Todd and Melinda and the entire family. You will be remembered as a dedicated, loving and caring man to family, friends and every person you ever crossed paths with. Rest in peace cousin. Love Jon & Cruz
I only knew Dean for a few months as he commenced at Monash Health in late 2023. However, I immediately warmed to him with his infectious smile and warmth, great Kiwi accent and terrific sense of humor. Dean was due to come out with the blokes from OH&S and Injury Management to share a beer and a chat this Friday. Instead, we will now be having a beer and a prayer in his honour. Whilst, deeply saddened, I'm so encouraged that Dean knew the Lord and that we will meet again in heaven and catch up on that beer. Praying for Dean's family and friends at this time of great loss. Blessings. Martin Turner (Monash Health- OH&S Unit)
Dean will be sadly missed by the Lions community for his passion and energy. To his family, take the time to grieve, remember him at his best. Kind regards Lyn Perera District 201v5 District Governor
