Uncle Don has always been such a special person in my life and someone whose influence in my life I will always cherish. I will never forget is sense of humour and the love and compassion that he always showed. Our lives are so much richer for having him in it. Much love to all Don's family as you mourn a great man. To Helen and Family Sincere condolences at your loss. Am privileged to have known Don as a great bloke, mentor and friend. His passing is also a great loss to the protective coatings industry in Australasia but his contributions to our Standards and technical literature will live on.

Condolences from my family. I’m grateful for Don being such a good friend to my parents over the decades. Also for conducting my father Bruce’s funeral in such a dignified way.
My heart goes out to you all at this difficult time. Don was an incredible person who touched so many lives and created a divine family who he is immensely proud of.
