Dear Fiona I am so so sad to hear of your wonderful clever, witty dad’s passing. I remember him fondly and his gift to me of travel brochures from trips to Norway in the 60’s. Send your mum my fondest love and say that I am thinking of her and of you all in this very difficult time. Take care. Hank you so much for letting me know. My heart goes out to you and all the family over this difficult time. I so valued the time I spent with your Dad, he was a truly remarkable man who battled on through all his medical issues. But what I will fondly remember most is his sense of humour. Please give Ann a big cuddle from me. Love to you and everyone.

I am very sorry to hear that Fiona. Thank you for letting me know. Please pass my condolences onto your mum. Ian was a lovely man and from what I can tell lived a very full life. I will always have a reminder of him on my desk at work! I am on leave next week but will do my best to tune in if possible on Wednesday morning. I hope you and your family are coping as best as you can at this very sad time.
