Dear Jan, Carlie, Tony, Mike and families,
We were so saddened to hear of Ian's passing and we are so sorry for your loss. He was taken much too soon. The memorial service was beautiful and it was clear he brought joy to so many lives. Ian will be dearly missed but his memory will live on through you. I have fond memories of our families catching up, going to concerts and having fun. There was always so much love and warmth. Thinking of you at this sad time and sending a lot of love your way. Ian was a wonderful man, a generous spirit and a true family man. Our deepest condolences.
With love,
Lesley and Aymen xoxo

We had the honour of attending many wonderful events with Ian & Jan arranged by the Oldham families. The love they shared was always evident with many a tale to be told, always a smile and always with Jan by his side. Rest In Peace dear friend, knowing that you always gave your best and were a true inspiration to us all. Our thoughts are with all the family. ???

I’m so sorry to hear of Ian “Molly” Flanders passing. We had a great time at AGC, working & playing hard, but one thing sticks in my mind. I remember Ian as a very loving family man. He never stopped talking about Jan and his family, I think 2 sons, but I maybe wrong. I can’t imagine how sad you must all feel, as I’m sure Ian was the most supportive and loving husband and father anybody could wish for. My sincere condolences to Jan, family and his close friends.

To Jan & the Flanders Family
I had the honour and great pleasure to work with Ian for some years.
Jan & Carlie, Through that connection, I’ve also had the pleasure to share time with you both and see first hand the incredibly strong and loving bond that your family have always had. A man that loved and cherished his wife & family like no other I’ve known. As my boss, colleague & occasionally my drinking buddy, Ian had my ultimate respect, commitment & loyalty. He taught me so much. He encouraged me, motivated and inspired me. Most special to me though, Ian was the first of only two leaders I’ve ever worked under that really understood, appreciated and encouraged me to be me. If I needed a lift he would provide it, if I needed to be knocked down a peg or two he would let me know. He valued my hard work & commitment and always showed me nothing but appreciation & respect. Ian was one of the greatest men I have ever been so fortunate to cross paths with. I can’t comprehend the pain & loss you his family and loved ones, are feeling at this time and for all time. Flanders is a Family name I will never ever forget and always with my utmost respect and gratitude. RIP mate.
