This is Irene eating something she knew she shouldn't at the Werribee Zoo. The highlight was feeding the lions. I was jealous (in a nice way) of all her great photos she took that day. She was an inspiration to find my own DSLR camera. 12 July 2010

Irene was very helpful when I first joined the team, she was quick to lend a hand when I needed the guidance. She was bubbly, friendly and welcoming. I will remember her for the sweet person she was. My deepest condolences to her friends and family. May she rest in peace.

Irene, I will miss you terribly. I will miss all the talks we had about pets, family, food or food issues (which was most of the time) and occasionally work. I will hold these memories close to my heart. You were always kind, very well spoken, graceful, supportive, generous and you held onto your truth till the end. You had a life well lived and loved. I will take what I what I learnt from you in this life and see you in the next. May love and light guide you while angels hold your hand.

Dearest Irene, I was so lucky to have had the pleasure of working with you over the last year. You were so smart, always there to help and oh so patient. I loved our talks (not sure who talked the most you or me haaa) and our many laughs. You became a great friend. It is so unfair that you were taken so young but I am sure you are in a better place looking over us all. It was such a pleasure to have known you, I will miss you terribly. Xx
