John and I hung out together over the years . Like any brother and sister we had fights. But, at the end of the day we got along well.
Mum took both of us shopping in the city. This was a huge thing for us . We got the day off school.
John got a new pair of Bubble shoes . They were the in thing at the time. We thought they were sooooooooo cool.
They made him look taller too. As he was a short arse.
He friends would call hi, Arch, Archie or JA , as I remember.
He was funny . Somewhere I have a photo of him with a finger up each nostril ...It was so funny. I was doing photography at school. So, he would have been 20 or so.
Ahh I looked up to him. He played guitar , I wanted to play guitar. He travelled to Cairns , I wanted to travel to Cairns.
His phone would send me txt messages via the pocket. . After receiving it I would call him. We would have a laugh . Always wondered why it only sent them to me As, he said . We would have great chats . Cause both of us would say what needed to be said and that was it . No hooohaaa, just got on with it. He never whinged, complained , just got on with it ..
I love my Bro and miss him xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

John was a constant source of encouragement, and always there to debrief my misadventures and bounce ideas in planning the next. A great friend.
