Only Just received the news via the grapevine, delayed due to bank holidays. What a lovely photo you chose and exactly how I remember her. She was a family friend and neighbour in Granville road and did everything with a quiet Christian demeanour . She was also the best Brown Owl ! I was possibly the worst Brownie! She had a lasting memory of me from one pack holiday which she shared the last time I saw her back in England. I picked some mushrooms from the woods we were staying in, assuring her that they were ok to eat ( I did read nature books endlessly), and she spent the whole night awake checking me in case she needed to take me to hospital with poisoning!! Poor lady. I gave her a big hug and apologised as an adult for the child's actions. We had a good laugh about it together. They were mushrooms....... She is another Angel watching over us but she had alot of practice on earth. I do hope that all the family can take comfort knowing she is at peace after a long innings. My love to you all even though I only met the older generation. Memories of Janet especially on the bus to orchestra on Saturdays. Love and prayers. Fiona/Fizzy
