Sincere condolences to all of Lindsay's family from Bob Horner's family. We enjoyed getting Lindsay's Xmas messages and he was a source of much info on the family history. A caring man.

Quiet, unassuming, gentle soul but giant of a man. With his late wife Viv, meant so much to my family with their love and support. Genuinely interested in other people, so devoted to his family, active in so many arenas, brilliant mind, great achiever. Will be sorely missed. Love to Hilary, Nick, Bill and the boys.

Dear Hilary, I knew both your parents originally through the Maroondah Singers - your Mother particularly well. Then later, your Dad, through RFDS and our daughter, Jay's, work as radio operator in Derby. Avril, you and your Mother visited our cam p at Balnarring Beach fo r fun with us all. Your Dad was a great man. May you be comforted. John.

Sincerest condolences on your sad loss and the lovely memorial service this afternoon,as it showed us what a great Aussie he was. Our youngest daughter Lori was the ex nurse that helped young Stephen and Lindsay until paramedics arrived. I will never forget working with him on our Dawn Service every Anzac morning with his famous Aussie flag. I will continue the service as long as I am able.sleep peacefully old soldier R.S.M.

Prayers and hugs for you Hilary and family and Bill and family. I remember your Dad (to me Uncle Lindsay) as always quiet and kind. Didn't get to see much of him since Auntie Viv passed but always think of both of them very fondly and miss their cards. And of course had been praying for Averil too over the past months. Love and prayers for you all, Kerryn Brookes
