CONTRIBUTE
TO MEMORY TIMELINE
This is the very first photo in my iPhones photo album. Taken in 2014 as we met up in Melbourne CBD. Very happy memories.
>read onDear Johann, Elmie, and Christel, I am one of the Thursday Girls group facilitators. I have lovely memories of your wife and mother, who was a beautiful person, inside and out. One memory is when she wanted to take Lily to national parks and we wrote her a letter pretending she was a therapy dog. It wasn't true but I felt comfortable that it was the professionally ethical thing to do. Martie wondered if it was ok to lie, but we talked about it and decided it was OK. It's horrible and tragic. She loved life, loved God and adored her family. I'm pleased that at least she had the opportunity to spend some time with her gorgeous twin grand daughters. My condolences to you all. I'm not coming to the Church but I'll be online and with you in love and sadness.
>read onWhat a beautiful honour to share in celebrating Mamma Martie's life. She will forever be a role model of what love looks like. She loved full and unreservedly. We are thankful to have been the recipients of but a glimpse of this love. Love always, Leezi & Nelis.
Our heartfelt thoughts go out to the family, who loved her dearly, her memory will live on, she is now in God's care. Johanna and Rob.
