Dear Sharon , Kerrie and Pam, although I was unable to attend the lovely service for your beautiful mother Nancy, I watched it online and at times was moved to tears recalling past times. She was one of my favourite people, probably because she was so uncomplicated and honest, as well as being such a wonderful welcoming person, so hospitable, maker of wonderful sponges and other delicious edibles! Such a pity that the last few years were so difficult for her, but she never exhibited sorrow about her lot. Much love to you all. John
