My condolences to Nick’s family and friends on this sad tragic news. I only knew Nick for a short time before I left MLC/IOOF but he was one of the most genuine and nicest guys I’ve worked alongside. Always supportive and there for the team, just an all round top guy. May he RIP :(

Although I didn’t know Nick well - I am so saddened to hear of his sudden and unexpected passing and the impact of this loss on all those close to him and particularly his beloved children who will miss their dad dearly. Lyn and Terry have been treasured friends back from my High School and teen years and I remember the joy in their hearts when Dan and Nick joined their family many years ago. They have been loving parents and I know how much they love their boys and grandkids and their daughters-in-law too and have always encouraged and supported them in every possible way. I am sending my love to all the family (including Nanny Pat) at this very sad time and a big thank you to Dan for helping mum and dad so much right now! May God’s peace surround you all right now and in the future. 🙏❤️

Although I never met Nick, I feel like I knew him because Lyn talked with such pride about him. She talked all the time about what a brilliant father he was and expressed the most special, incredible and enduring love for him. Terry and Lyn are extraordinary, loving and spiritual people and I am sending them all the love I have in my heart.💙💙💙

I’ve known Macca for 20 years. I haven’t been a regular part of his life, but I’ve spent some wonderful times with him. As recently as last month Jules and I visited Macca, Ruby and Winnie to celebrate his 40th. We talked, ate, drank, laughed, schemed, pontificated, riffed and just enjoyed the night. I’m reminded every time I see him that Macca is a beautiful man. Witty and insightful, warm and empathetic. Ever since I heard of his passing I’ve felt a deep sadness in my heart that Macca just wont be a part of life anymore. Clearly loved by all around him, Vale Macca. Our world is worse off because you’re no longer in it. Love you bruvva xxxx

I have known Nick all his life as his oldest cousin. He was a special person! I know that we always seem to say this when someone dies, particularly when they die so young, but in this case, it was particularly true. Nick was incredibly relational and had a way of getting along with everyone. He was brilliant with kids. Nick was passionate about following the Collingwood football team, just like many of the McCredden family, and would post frequently in a family footy chat. I will miss that. I am glad he got to see another Collingwood premiership, which brought him much joy. It is heartbreaking to lose Nick so young, and I feel so much for his close family, who loved him so much.

It is with sadness that Lorna and I send our condolences to Chloe ,Ruby Winnie, Terry and Lyn, Daniel, Michelle and Joshua and Liam. Death, especially sudden death diminishes us all. Nick was a good bloke which in our country is a great compliment. He was fair dinkum. We will miss him in so many ways including the regular visits to the MCG to see the Pies. He was the most passionate supporter of the club. Rest in Peace dear Nephew..

Nick first came into my life when he joined my team at MLC, and we immediately "hit it off" and became great mates at work. He was incredibly intelligent and was always a joy to work with. More than that though, he was a genuinely caring and loving man who would always put others before himself. He was deeply loved and respected by his colleagues at MLC/Insignia Financial and he will be missed by me very much. My deepest condolences to his entire family, especially his beautiful girls who he simply adored.

Our beloved Macca, you left us too soon. Thank you for offering kindness and generosity to me and everyone you knew. You were always the glue to our crew of misfits, providing us with safety, humor and stella tunes through your record collection and custom mix cd’s. I have nothing but fond memories of spending hours together through the trenches of adolescence and making that time some of the most memorable experiences of my life. Terry and Lyn, thank you for raising such a beautiful soul. I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending lots of love.

My condolences to all Nick's family and friends. I first met Macca at a 21st party, I knew he was my kind of guy as while everyone was out listened to loud dance music he was chilling in his car listening to a Steely Dan song, I think we might have been the only 2 at the party who even knew who they are, we instantly bonded over our eclectic tastes and I mean who couldn't get along with Macca. To paraphrase a TV show (I know macca would appreciate that with his love of film and television) the afterlife is how you are remembered by the living. Macca was a kind, lovable soul and will always be remembered for that. That's heaven. Rest in peace my friend.

So sad to hear about Nicks passing. I have the best memories working with him in the mailroom at Telstra Super! Such fun times. We used to laugh about how he always had tomato sauce stains on his tie. One of the nicest humans going around… what a loss. Sending lots of love to his family and friends. Rest in peace Nick.

Terry, Lynn and Dan. I was saddened to hear of Nick's untimely passing. I hold fond memories of him as a student at Wesley. In the classroom, on the football field and socially, Nick was amusing, surprising and always good to be around! My thoughts are with you. Richard
