We remember Phil as a loving man who was a Mentor to us in our younger church days. We always found him to be inclusive, and a very enthusiastic and encouraging Christian who gave everyone a go. He was a giant of a man with a caring and loving heart.

Hi Dad, you will be so missed, I have so many great memories of you in my life that have paved and influenced me. We all will miss your dad jokes and your wonderful sense of humour. Seeing all of the comments on mums Facebook from people all over the world has made me appreciate how loved you were and how many peoples lives you have touched. It makes me proud to be called your son. I know now that you are in the arms of the Lord and have no more suffering, I am sure Andrew was so happy to be reunited with you. Dad thank you for your love and kindness to mum, to all of our kids and grand kids we will all miss you dearly. Little Ella's words on the day that MND had been confirmed she said Jesus will look after my grandpa, when she said this she asked daddy why are you crying, don't cry I told Jesus to give grandpa a big hug. Dad I can see you with your thumbs up Love you.
