My condolences and love to you Jane, Anna and Dan. I have such fond memories of your father. I loved the twinkle in his eye and his fun grin, his saxophone accompaniment to our hymn singing at St Jules, his gentle steadiness wisdom and deep calm at a quiet reflection day. Most recently, I saw in him the kind gentleman as he walked me to my car. Ross has been a blessing I’m sure wherever he has walked as his light, The Christ -light in him, has brought light and love to others. 💗

I still remember Ross's early love of organ music, especially his set of E. Power Biggs recordings.

Our deep and sincere condolences to the Green family. Ross baptised Jimmy at North Melbourne Primary School, did our marriage course and married us at Church of All Nations when St Jude's building was still under construction. Ross's teaching and ministry to us is full of love, grace and wisdom. He has been a great blessing to our marriage.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your fabulous dad. My memories of him are of his warm smile, ability to listen, the love he showed to children and grandchildren, and his genuine interest in those around him. I can see in so many ways his terrific qualities shining through in you. We are praying for God’s comfort and hope as you grieve. Much love from all of us- Anne, Paul, Ned, Tom and Pippa.

I'm grateful to have come to know Ross when I was preparing for ordination - he was my assigned mentor for those years, and our regular catch-ups for coffee in Lygon St were always rich and encouraging conversations. He listened carefully to me but also shared humbly and vulnerably from his own experience. May God's peace and love surround all of you who were closest to him.

To Dan Jane Anna and families We were unable to be with you as you celebrated the life of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. We have so many special memories of Ross and of course our times shared with you as a family. As a Church we were truly Blessed by the Green family with our first memory of Ross on his first Sunday arriving with his guitar strapped to him. We knew we were in for a special journey of praise and worship. We send our love to you all. Roger and Sue
