Today is November 16 & it is still just unbelievable to think of Sue as having passed. I fear it will feel this way for a very long time. The depth of my personal feelings of profound loss and sadness is, I think, bound up in the dilemma of reconciling the passing of a friend so completely full of life, friendship and generosity. That reconciliation is still beyond me. I can still feel Sue's energy in the community work we shared at Blackburn lake (she did so much!). Sue's generosity came to me in many ways and at many times, none more so than when she could sense I was going through a deep trough, at which time she went out of her way to be kind, constructive and supportive. Sue was compassionate, intelligent, competent, and knew how to patiently listen, and how to take one seriously and make one feel that what they had to say was worthwhile. Sue was a natural born pastoral carer. I will forever treasure memories of her kindness and friendship. Rest In Peace, Sue, it was a blessing to have crossed paths with you.
Dearest Uncle Robert, Melissa, Christine and Michelle,
Sending our thoughts, love and prayers to you during this time.
We were so shocked and saddened to hear the news of Aunty Sues passing. We will always remember her love and enthuasiam, and cherish the times we got to share together.
Lots of love,
Trish and Josh
Sue was a kind, generous and caring woman. She always had the time to talk and help people. She will be greatly missed.
May she rest in peace.
My deepest condolences to Sue's family.
To our colleague and friend, your enthusiastic, generous, kind and supporting friendship will always be valued and much missed. In God's care. The Holmesglen BEP group.
It saddens my heart and quite a shock to hear of Sue's passing.
It only felt like yesterday that we could have a chat and a good laugh.
To me, Sue was always a kind genuine soul who would always take time to say hello and cared about everyone.
My deepest condolences goes out to Sue's family during this sad moment.
Sue will surely be missed. RIP
Dear Rob, Melissa, Christine and Michelle,
A light has gone out in this world but a new one is bright in heaven. Sue gave us so much joy and friendship in good times and bad. We will cherish our times together and be forever grateful for the times we spent together.
Waking in the middle of the night, I still find it hard to believe that you have left. Being the supportive and caring friend, you were often the one who had encouraged me. You were like an elder sister to me, always being by my side, staying cheerful, bringing a smile to my face.
Sue, you were our guardian angel, being mindful of the feelings of everyone around you. Cheerful, diligent, caring, they were the words people use to describe you.
Remember the vase and flowers you gave me before Mother's Day, I have filled the vase with some daisies. It accompanies me in my kitchen and reminds me of you. Sue, every time I see the vase, I feel as though you are still by my side. My friend, may you rest in peace. May our angel rest in heaven.
Sue, we miss you.
Cynthia and Wendy
Dear Robert, Michelle, Christine and Melissa
Sue was a wonderful, warm person and we are very grateful to have shared time with her. Our thoughts and love are with you.
Sue has inspired me a lot and whenever she saw me, she used to have a short conversation about my wellbeing and the work and made me comfortable of what I am doing and always happy to hear my success stories. It was a shock to hear her dismiss. I am in overseas and would not be able to attend the funeral.
Please accept my deepest sympathise and may she rest in peace!
Dear Rob, Melissa, Christine, Michelle and family,
We are very deeply saddened by the loss of Siew, one of our oldest and best friends. Her energy, enthusiasm and jolly outlook on life seemed to be limitless. She was always a generous intelligent person and achieved amazing things in so many different walks of life. We will forever miss her. We cannot imagine the loss you feel. Please accept our heartfelt condolences and love.
Susan came to me wanting to know why I am unhappy.
Susan, you are so kind to me.
You are always there willing to listen and advise.
Thank you for being there for me.
Susan, Rest in peace in heaven
I'm so sadness to hear about the loss of Sue. Sue was a warm and welcoming person who took the time to listen and understand. A treasured asset that will be deeply missed. My condolences go out to all Sue's family and friends
I worked with Sue at Boxhill Institute and Sue was always there for the students and the staff. Sue was a wonderful person who had more passion in her little finger than most people do in their whole body.
Her smile and her enthusiasm will be missed and she will always be in our memories.
May Sue rest in peace
Rest peacefully Susan .
Thanks for all of your great contributions to your workplace
You will be missed.

I am still in shock and I miss you Sue. As crazy as it may seem I thought of you somewhat as a big sister. As a woman, you seemed experienced, confident, wise and sincere. I admired you for finding time to give and do so much. I will forever treasure the perceptive comments you shared and the laughs. “They’re all turning vegans” I say, “We’ll just give them salad” she said with a devious laugh. Now all the words in the world are never enough and what may have been will never be. As your friend said, "we all thought we had all the time in the world". Now life must go on without you. How lucky am I to have your beautiful daughter as my daughter-in-law? I see so much of you in her and I'm sure as time passes I'll see much more. You have left a wonderful legacy. I will forever be grateful for the thoughtful gifts you have given me. You will forever be missed, by no-one more than Rob, your girls and your siblings. Your memory will remain but it is with love, respect and much sadness it is goodbye for now.

Dear Rob and family, Doris and Robin would like to express our deepest and sincere condolences for the loss of your beloved wife.
We will never let go the memories we have with her. We are keeping you in our prayers.
To dear Rob, Melissa, Christine, Michelle and all the family.
We will always hold Sue close to our hearts for the special person she was. Her devotion to her family, her enthusiasm and energy for life and the special gift she had for motivating and encouraging the people she came into contact with to do the best in their life’s journeys. Sue had a passion and genuine love for people and received much pleasure in seeing the people in her life achieve their goals no matter how big or small they seemed. We have been privileged to have Sue as our dear sister-in-law and she will be greatly missed but we have comfort in knowing she is in the arms of Jesus and we will all meet again someday. You are all in our hearts during this sad time.
To dear Rob, Melissa, Michelle and Christine,
I knew Sue for 30 years - she had babies when I did, she had adolescents when I did, she had a career as I did - we all thought we had all the time in the world. ...now her time in this place is over. It is a shock, a wrench, a disbelief but how lucky I was to have her as my friend and how lucky you are to have each other. Dance like no one is watching, love like you'll never be hurt, sing like there's no one listening and live like it's heaven on earth. Go well, Stay well. M
I am shocked and sad when I received news of your passing from your cousin, Choo Ai. We have been childhood friends, classmates and neighbour. We used to play together with your siblings, Siew Lim and Wee Kee. Your late mum used to visit us without fail when she came back to Malaysia.I always remember you as a friendly, helpful and cheerful friend. I will always keep you in my mind and heart. My heartfelt condolences to Rob and your girls, Lin and Michael Lee Wee Kee. May you rest in peace, Siew San. Love Kooi Hwa
My deepest sympathy to Rob, Melissa, Christine, Michelle and extended family. I was shocked and saddened to learn of Sue’s passing. Sue’s presence would light up a room and her energy and love of life was contagious. Her warmth, compassion and generous heart touched so many people. I don’t think she realised the impact she made on so many lives – to students and work colleagues, community groups, friends or strangers that needed a helping hand. I feel blessed that our paths crossed and I will miss her friendship. Rest in peace Sue.
Sue’s energy was amazing and she poured it into all parts of her life – family, work, church, and all those community involvements. But always there seemed to be time and energy left for one more individual conversation. With warmth and positivity she sought out people when they needed support, and provided care and encouragement. She kept up friendships new and old in an amazing network of relationships. She will be so greatly missed by so many people.
My heart goes out to Rob, Melissa, Christine, Michelle and all the family,
where she will be missed most of all. Love to you all, Margaret Lord
