Harriet and John are newcomers to over 55s club today she told me about charity event at Uniting church 5h October I might be interested in Music, dancing etc I'm going
I used to go to uniting church since I came to Frankston 1971 Rev Auldist then who christened my first child My husband never went to church except on occasions Rev Auldist wasn't the best and along came Tom I'd take my two children on Sundays in their kilts Tom was lovely and so was Millie A lovely couple I said toTom one day I really want my husband to come to church
Tom was easy to talk to He said to me Do you go out anywhere in the evening without Jim He said he would drop in just for a friendly chat Like I wasn't supposed to know Tom was coming When I came home Jim said I'd missed Tom but they had a good chat The next week Tom said to me We talked about fishing and golf etc and hadn't mentioned church Tom said to me not to worry and that Jim's a good man That's all that matters The children went to Snday school for a couple of years Entually we stopped going I usd to go to a group all these years Tom would drop in so friendly
So today havng talked to Harriet and John I thought about Tom Googled Tom and found Tom had passed away and Millie only last year
I'm glad they had all these years together I saw when Tom was born I was born in 1948 I always thought Tom and Millie weren't that much older than me They were a modern couple modern minded
After all these years since Tom and Millie passed away I just had to tell this little story about Tom He was very special and so much so to My husband passed away 16 years ago when he was 64 My sympathy to the family Cherish the memories Tom and Millie are still with you in your hearts 🙏

Mum's one year anniversary since her departure from this earth & her body. Think of her often & feel her presence with me. A wonderful role model for her daughter's, coming from a lineage of strong women.
Miss you heaps Mum xx
Recently someone commented on how much I look like you ♥️

I loved my Mum dearly, her high energy, her intelligence, her unrelenting determination to keep going when the times were tough. She was made of the right stuff. Enjoy the sunshine with Dad ❤️❤️❤️

We are deeply saddened to hear that Millie has passed away. I had the opportunity and privilege of meeting Millie on a number of occasions over the last number of years. What an incredibly regal woman she was. I loved our conversations and her insights and thoughts on many subjects. Millie, you are absent from the body but VERY PRESENT with our Lord. We shall meet again.
