I only just found out about this page. Andrew Jacobs was my favourite teacher. I remember the days when we used to laugh and joke around every oboe lesson. I will miss your smile, the shine in your eyes, and your passion for music. You were my mentor, you continued to encourage me, help me. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without you. Thank you, so so much, for everything. I will see you one day up in heaven. Alex

I was shocked to recently learn of Andrew's (Jake's) passing. I was in Andrew's class at Blackburn Hight School, and we also studied for our Teaching degrees at college at the same time. A great fellow, always good natured. My sympathies to his family and friends.

Always a gentle, smiling presence. I have sweet memories of the Mini, Dunoon St, Inverloch and you living at our house in Wantirna. The attendance at St Paul’s on Thursday represented how you touched so many people’s lives. RIP my dear cousin Andrew. You are missed. x
