The funeral service for Jean was just Jean. Thank you to all concerned. I first got to know Jean & Vic when I was appointed Australian Warden in 1993. I so enjoyed the conversations I had in their home when we met together. Jean was a wonderful mentor , and encouragement to me. She was so experienced in the ministry of healing and had a lot to give. And that giving never stopped. I send out a Thought for the Week every week by email, and over the last year or so I have been sending it to Jean. She gave so graciously, and received so graciously. I shall never forget you, Jean, and the amazing influence you have had on my life. See you in that wonderful mansion in heaven. 😇

Farewell to a woman of great faith. Thank you for your prayers, your love, your counsel and guidance. Until we meet again . . .

Andrea McDougall, National Chaplain OSL on 16 October, 2023 at 11:03am

Jean poured herself into the ministry of OSL out of love and compassion and a deep faith and has forever made her mark on our mission. Our greatest of thanks to Jean - not just for the work she willingly did in the name of Christ, but for the person that she was - her strength, her guidance and her great love. May she rest in peace and rise in God's eternal light.

Jean, with her service through the OSL, was always a support to my father (Ken Randall, dec.) and our family. Her presence and calm undertone were always a valuable gift in her support.
In our conversations, she would often drift into a wry smile and a gentle laugh, that is a memory that will always stay dearly in my heart.
She will be greatly missed, and our thoughts and condolences are with family and friends.

It is with fond memories that I think about my past times spent with Jean. Not only was Jean a great encouragement to me and others, but also a great friend to me personally.
Praise God for the life of his daughter Jean, and her being an ongoing witness for the Kingdom of God.
