Dear Benedict, You and Xiao are very fondly remembered from your time on the street outreach in Melbourne, faithfully coming along and handing out tracts and Bibles and telling people about the love of Jesus. You both gave us encouragement and wisdom. I particularly remember a team meeting at your home. Xiao will have been welcomed by choirs of angels
Hi Benedict, I was so sad to hear of Xiao's passing - she was such a gem. I want to thank you (and her!) for all your support and love over the years you lived in Melbourne. You were a very significant force in helping my ministry become established. You were both such an effective team together and always full of encouragement for me and others who were involved in ministry.
We will miss Xiao very much . However we have the confidence and assurance that she is in the arms of God who is saying to her (and to you): "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord". May the Lord comfort you in this time of grief. God bless you,
Bernie and Catherine Power
Xiao had been my wonderful neigbour since moving to Qld. Together with Benedict, they treat my family and me with 💕. She is very kind and compassionate. Always having a positive and happy outlook in life. We will dearly miss her but is Thankful that she is with our eternal father.
Dear Benedict, our thoughts go out to you, and as you know, John and I really believe Xiao is in the arms of Jesus. God Bless and keep you safe. xxx
Dear Benedict. My condolences to you and all the family in your loss, we are in Melbourne. We will never forget both of you during the time you were serving with us to preach the word of God on the city. I ask God to comfort you , trusting Him that our beloved Xiao is with him without pain or tears. May God grant you His peace and comfort.
Dear Xiao Wen,
I will always remember you as a kind and loving friend of our family, ever since I was born. I know you are now at peace, free from wordly pain, and in God's loving presence and embrace.
You will be dearly missed Xiao.
We met Xiao Wen for the first time in the fellowship of your Ashwood home in 2005. In the past 16 years, her love for the Lord and people has deeply moved us. Her obedience to the Lord and her passion for serving the Lord always inspired and encouraged us. In China, the Middle East and other regions, there have been many beautiful
tracks of your evangelism. In the Lord, you often receive visions and prophesies and served the brothers and sisters by passing on the God's word and inspiration as well as passing on love and grace from God to the brothers and sisters in need, and supporting them to run together in this godly path. Both Victor and I are one of the couples greatly supported by Xiaowen and your serving. Thank you Ben and sister Xiaowen for your love, care and help over the years. Both of you are a beautiful testimony to the Lord.
And now just as recorded in 2 Timothy 4:7-8, for sister
Xiaowen, her good battle has been fought, she has finished the race and kept her faith, and a crown of righteousness now awaits her. Such a beautiful life!
Dear sister Xiaowen, see you in heaven!

Xiao and Ben at my daughter Stephanie's 1 year old birthday celebration.
Xiao, it has been our honour and previledge to know you and journey with you in our faith walk. Your earnest search for truth and practical wisdom often led us to many late night discussions; your laughters and your operatic singing of praise and worhship songs were still ringing in our ears. Your heart for reaching to other people so they can be touched by God's love was as strong as ever, even when you were physically unwell during the last few months. Your life has touched many, and your legacy will continue to inspire us to lead a purpose-driven life for Jesus Christ. May you rest in His embrace till we meet again.
Xiao I never knew you but came to know of your life through Richard Harris and his gospel distribution ministry in Melbourne Victoria. I pray that your family and friends would be comforted and not sorrow over much as they will see you in heaven one day (1 Thessalonians 4:13, King James Bible).
What an honour to walk with you and Benedict in your latter years. Fiery, passionate and always hungry for more of our Lord Jesus. I loved your enthusiasm for life, people and Jesus!!! Always questioning and learning, for more of Him and an excellence in everything you put your hand too. I know you are with Him now and delighting in His presence. Forever grateful for you thank you beautiful Xiao! Till we meet again!

"If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants."
Sir Isaaac Newton
At times Xiao appeared to be not very strong. But don’t be fooled: Xiao was a giant on whose shoulders many —like I— continue to stand.
Amongst her many endearing qualities two spring to my mind: Servant leadership and lifelong learning. Let me explain.
Xiao agreed that even a good marriage can get better still. She promptly enrolled Benedict and herself in the 7-sessions of the marriage course which my husband Len and I facilitated. Xiao and Benedict were model participants. Upon completion they helped out as volunteers in the next course, serving tea and washing dishes.
Xiao was excited to learn the course material was also available in Chinese, as she recognised this as an excellent tool, which she was keen to offer it to her beloved Chinese community. Xiao and Benedict gratefully considered every tip on how to create a romantic and safe environment for couples to enjoy date nights while also working through the many challenges life throws at couples.
Xiao and Benedict did a splendid job facilitating the marriage course in Chinese in their own home. In true Xiao fashion she cooked, baked, scrubbed and decorated the place, allowing others to stand on her shoulders and thus see further.
We can’t be grateful enough for Xiao!
Xiao I will never forget your kindness and care you gave me. We meet a lot of people in our lives and I was blessed to have met you and to call you my friend. I am glad that you are no longer in pain and that you are in a place of peace and love. Rest In Peace Xiao you will always be in my heart.
Xiao Liu is our old friend who we've known since 1988. Recalling the first time we met Sister Liu in Melbourne 33 years ago, when she first came here, she was introduced by an acquaintance. When she came to our house, she lived with our whole family under one roof. At that time, our son was five years old and our daughter was two and a half years old. Her warm and caring personality always brought warmth to people.
Xiao Liu liked to sing and had a beautiful voice. She liked children, had a kind heart, a heart that was willing to help others, in her patience and love. The children got along well with their Aunt Liu. Although Xiao Liu only stayed with us for a few months, she left a positive and lasting impression on our hearts and the children, and we are eternally grateful for her.
Many years later we met again by coincidence and it was a joy to discover we had both found the Lord. In our sharing we confessed that we have all been sinners. It is the Lord Jesus Christ who washed the world’s unrighteousness with His life and precious blood. He rose from the dead as it is written, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
Now Sister Liu has settled in our "home of heaven". From now on, there is no more suffering, no more tears, no sorrow, only joy and peace, Hallelujah! She is in the kingdom of the Lord. How wonderful it is to have an eternal life!
How wonderful! Praise the Lord! Now Sister Liu has rested in the Lord's arms! We believe that one day we who trust in the Lord Christ Jesus will meet again in our heavenly home!
Dearest Xiao,
I will cherish our 10+ years we worked together. I will never forget your love and passion to help others, including myself and your generosity. We shared many laughs together and you were always someone I could trust to chat to you about anything and everything.
All of your patients talked about how brilliant you were and how caring you are. You had a way to make others see the positive in things and that there is always a solution to any problem.
Condolences to Benedict and family.
May you Rest In Peace now Xiao and fly high.
Lots of love, Julie x

Our time with Xiao and Benedict was brief but very specially cherished. Thank you for sharing your lives with us and inspiring us with the love of Christ. Xiao will surely be missed
Dear Benedict, I am so sad for you. Xiao was an amazing person to whom I owed so much. She was brilliant both as a person and as a practitioner. There is no-one who can match her. She holds a special place in my heart.

To Xiao Wen Lofstedt, our dearest sister in Christ,
We thank God for sending you to us so many years ago. God sent you to show us what it means to be a true servant of God. You have richly blessed us and countless others.
You have a heart of gold, filled with compassion, kindness, and genuine love to everyone around you. You are an examplary example of what it means to be "Christ" with flesh on in this world.
Shof and I are so blessed to have known you. We will always remember you and will miss you dearly.
