I only just found out about this page. Andrew Jacobs was my favourite teacher. I remember the days when we used to laugh and joke around every oboe lesson. I will miss your smile, the shine in your eyes, and your passion for music. You were my mentor, you continued to encourage me, help me. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without you. Separated by distance I missed the opportunity to get to know you better my elder cousin, but your service held many insights into your depth of character, esp. your gentle humility, intelligence and generous spirit.
